Katolog > Arts > Literature > Drama

Drama here refers to a play, or a literary composition intended to portray life or character or to tell a story usually involving conflicts and emotions exhibited through action and dialogue, designed for theatrical performance. The resulting literary traditions reflect the full spectrum of thought as history allows us to know it. A dramatist, or playwright, is one who writes plays. Dramatist can also refer to a person involved in the art of composing, writing, acting, or producing plays. In this category are found sites and categories relating to playwrights, their literary works, and the artistic environments and traditions in which they worked.
