Shadow of the Vampire - UK / USA (2000), directed by E. Elias Merhige. About to shoot 'Nosferatu', the German all time classic silent horror-movie from 1922, the director F.W. Murnau (John Malkovich) hires a real vampire (Willem Dafoe). A mixture of comedy and terror. Also stars Catherine McCormack as a drug addict star whose neck is promised to the vampire.
