British actor and comedian, born 11th January 1953, Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland. He has had various roles on film, TV and stage. He was the first regular contestant on the Channel 4 improvisation comedy 'Whose Line is it Anyway?'. One of his most memorable performances is the role of Dr. Prunesquallor in the BBC TV serial drama 'Gormenghast'.
