Antony Sher - actor - born 14 June 1949, Cape Town, South Africa, where he was raised before going to London to study dramatic art. In 1985 he won an Olivier Award for Best Actor in "Richard III". other roles include Benjamin Disraeli in 'Mrs. Brown' (1997) and Dr. Moth in 1999's 'Shakespeare in Love' (1998). He was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2000.
