Research Libraries
Libraries which acquire and maintain collections of primary and derivative materials of interest to academic and independent researchers and which are organized to provide resources and facilities in support of their work.
Included in the these collections may be any assortment of books, manuscripts, maps, screen plays, musical scores, microfiche records, audio and video tapes, and digital recordings covering all areas of scholarly inquiry.
