For ceremonial purposes Kingston upon Hull deemed part of East Riding of Yorkshire (formerly East Yorkshire),
Beverley, Holderness and part of Boothferry, which has become a ceremonial county in its own right. North Lincolnshire (formerly Glandford, Scunthorpe and part of
Boothferry) and North East Lincolnshire (formerly Cleethorpes and Great Grimsby) are deemed part of Lincolnshire.
