Longueuil is one of the larger cities in Quebec. It is the largest city on Montreal's South Shore and the metro (our word for subway) runs from Longueuil to Montreal.
This category is for the new city of Longueuil, made up of the former cities of Boucherville, Brossard, Greenfield Park, LeMoyne, Longueuil, Saint Bruno, Saint Hubert, and Saint Lambert, which merged on January 1, 2002.
Although stronger on the French side, there are several pages in English. There is a map, a word from the mayor, quite a bit of history, and some general information about Longueuil today. www.longueuil.ca
