"The Superman is the meaning of the earth. Let your will say: The Superman shall be the meaning of the earth!" Friedrich Nietzsche is now regarded as one of the most powerful and influential philosophers in the world, but in his lifetime he was notoriously unread. He is a powerful thinker who attempts to expose the dogmatic nature of much conventional philosophy. Critical of scientific thinking, Nietzsche wrote in a poetic, inviting style and introduced many concepts, such as "the Superman", which have been interpreted and misinterpreted to this day.
